Hi Molly56, thanks so much for stopping by.

Yes, I am pretty good about taking the supplements and believe that they do make a big difference.

It is all about the nutrition here and the supplements help me to make sure I am doing that. Others aren't as big on them and it still works fine, you just have to be a little more diligent about making sure you are getting everything from food.

I don't have any problem taking pills and was already taking a couple of things so this was an easy transition for me. It took some tweaking, but I finally have a routine that works for me. Everyone needs to find routines that work for their schedules and needs.

With that said, here is my daily supplement schedule...

With Breakfast: Probiotic, Digestive enzymes, Omega Fish Oil
With Lunch: Digestive enzymes and Omega Fish Oil
With Afternoon Snack: Acai (not a Gabriel Method thing but I love the stuff) and a multi vitamin/mineral

I also fresh grind flax and sprinkle it on everything throughout the day.

My advice would be to start with what you are comfortable with and then go from there. This is not about strict plans and quick weight loss. This system is about gradual and life long change that will make you healthier and thinner for the rest of your life, not just next month.

Take a look at the month by month recommendations at the back of The Gabriel Method book. The steps build on themselves and start slow so they are very easy to follow. And then it will just start building on itself.

I took a month off from actively adding new things to take some pressure off myself as I was starting to get down on myself and judgemental with myself. And then I went back to the book a month later and found that I was already doing all the month three items without actively thinking about it or trying. It just was a natural progression of listening to and following my body's cues. That is what this is all about, you body will tell you what it needs if you listen and feed it what it requires to work properly.

If you can just get started with an open mind and heart and a sense of commitment without judgment the changes will start to happen all on their own.

Good luck on your journey and please come back and keep us updated.

Are you taking the probiotic and digestive enzyme regularly? I am considering his diet and was wondering how much you stick to this part.

could definitely use a book on how to get more done. It seems like there is always more to do and less time to do it in. I will have to check it out. Thanks Ellen.

Good update: thanks. My own journey has taken me to realize that I need to clear a lot of clutter out of my life. Towards that end I am starting to read and learn the Getting Things Done book by David Allen.
